Below the page header, Overview may show zero or more alert banners. Each corresponds to a specific account state. Only relevant alerts appear at once.

Subtitle messages (header)
The subtitle under the Overview title mirrors the most important state:
- Awaiting payment: prompts completing payment for your agent name.
- Pending regulatory review: agent will go live when line is approved.
- Needs line setup: prompts activating line to enable agent name.
- Healthy live state: welcome back message with agent name and E.164 phone number.
Kill switch button behavior
When agent is live (kill switch off)
- Button label reads Kill switch with danger outline styling.
- Click opens a confirmation modal.
- If you use email password sign-in, enter your account password in the modal.
- If you use Google-only sign-in, confirmation may not require a separate password.
- On success, toast confirms agent is offline; red alert banner appears; Live agent card turns red.
When kill switch is on
- Button label reads Agent offline · Resume with active danger styling.
- Click resumes immediately without modal.
- Toast confirms agent is accepting calls again; danger banner clears when refresh completes.
Security note
Kill switch protects against unauthorized pauses by requiring verification on activation. Resume is intentionally one click so you can restore service quickly after maintenance.
